MUMBAI: Renowned film choreographer Saroj Khan has passed away at the age of 72. Saroj Khan had been running ill for some time now. On June 20, she was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai, after suffering breathing problems. According to news agency ANI, she died because of cardiac arrest late last night. ANI has reported that Saroj Khan’s funeral will take place at malvani necropolis in Malad locality of Mumbai.Saroj khan was also tested for COVID-19 but she was found negative.she also won the National Award for Best Choreography three times.Saroj Khan had an illustrious movie career spanning four decades with over 200 movies to her credit. She started off at a young age of 3 as a child artist and later became a background dancer. Saroj Khan was also seen as a judge on several dance-based reality shows such as Nach Baliye, Ustaadon Ka Ustaad, Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan, Boogie Woogie, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa to name a few.Saroj Khan was very fond of Madhuri Dixit and have worked closely with her in many films. Not just her, she has also made Sridevi, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and many more dance to her tunes.
